Now, local celebs are taking it to the next level by actually starring in Korean-inspired films! At least, that’s what the rumors say.

Anne Curtis, one of the most vocal celebrities about being a K-Drama fan, is rumored to star in a future film alongside a Korean actor. A report in Pilipino Star Ngayon says that Viva Films is currently negotiating with a few Korean actors for the film.

Anne merely reacted to these speculations with a one-word tweet.

Sarah Geronimo is also reported to be taking part in a local adaptation of the 2014 film Miss Granny.

The story, which appeared also on Pilipino Star Ngayon, says that the news was confirmed by Viva Films big boss Vic del Rosario himself.

The local adaptation of Miss Granny, a film about a 70-year old woman turning back into her 20’s after a trip to a photo studio, is reported to premiere in November this year.

Although there’s no confirmation from the actresses yet, we’re hoping that these projects come through. Anne and Sarah both have that K-Drama leading lady vibe that’s enough to be excited about.
