There were rumors before that Miss Universe 2015 will be the next “Darna”.
However, according to SunStar, Pia has shut down the rumors and said that she will not be playing the role of the popular heroine.
The role became open when Angel Locsin and ABS-CBN confirmed that Angel will no longer be “Darna” due to health reasons.
On the report, Pia said, “I am grateful to those who are interested to see me playing Darna, but I am not. It looks like ABS-CBN have other plans for me.”
Oh, but she also mentioned she’s not closing her doors for the possibility of it.
