The Metro Manila Film Festival announced via Facebook the first four contenders for this year’s festival.
On the post, they revealed that the following films are the first four to be included as finalists:
- Ang Panday (Starring: Coco Martin)
- Almost is Not Enough (Starring: Jennylyn Mercado, Jericho Rosales)
- The Revengers (Starring: Vice Ganda, Daniel Padilla, Pia Wurtzbach)
- Love Traps #FamilyGoals (Starring: Vic Sotto, Dawn Zulueta)

The other four movies to be included in the festival’s Magic 8 will be announced on November 17.
