ENTERTAINMENT: KZ Tandingan Leaves ‘Singer 2018’

Despite her amazing performance of Lorde’s “Royals” in the ninth episode of the show, KZ Tandingan has been eliminated from ‘Singer 2018.’

The 25-year-old singer and songwriter, who debuted in the top-rating singing competition at no. 1, failed to woo the audience voters for the fifth time and was sent home along with another contestant, James Li, during the double elimination episode.

Watch what is now her last performance on the show below:

Tandingan previously impressed the Chinese voters with her rendition of Adele’s “Rolling in the Deep,” a medley of Mandarin songs, Sheryl Crow’s “Real Gone,” and A Great Big World’s “Say Something” that has even gotten praise from its original artists.

This time, however, although she might have gotten quite a good reaction from the audience during her performance of Lorde’s “Royals,” the singer wasn’t able to keep her top position in the show.
