ENTERTAINMENT: ‘Kita Kita’ Is Now The Top Grossing Philippine Indie Film

With almost everyone talking about the newest romantic indie film, Kita Kita, it’s not really a surprise that the film is now in its third week in cinemas!

Just last week, Kita Kita yet again proved that it should be at the top of your must-see films this month.

Erickson Raymundo from Spring Films announced through Instagram that the film has now earned PHP300 million, and is now the top grossing indie film in the country–a record previously held by Jerrold Tarrog’s Heneral Luna.

Raymundo shares that it was truly a miracle–from earning only PHP2 million in its premiere, suddenly escalating to PHP300 million on its third week in cinemas! He even shares that their faith goal was only to make around 60-80 million and that even if they only made 30 million, they’d still be happy.

Talk about miracles indeed!
