Potterheads rejoice! You finally have your Dumbledore.
With the huge success fo the Harry Potter franchise, it really wasn’t a surprise that a few spin-offs here and there would pop up.
Last year, film producers #blessed us with a movie version of J.K. Rowling’s addition to the Harry Potter book series–Fantastic Beasts And Where To Find Them.

Of course, it sent Potterheads into a frenzy because, hey! It’s not over yet! It got all the more celebration when Rowling announced that there would be five movies in the franchise! Five. More. Harry. Potter Movies.
When it was announced that a young Dumbledore would be making an appearance in the next films, we were all scrambling to find out who’s going to play the role–because it would be great to see the wizard fresh and youthful and not an old man.

The Pottermore website just announced that Jude Law will be playing the great wizard!
Fans are actually quite happy and excited with the announcement–because ~hello~ it’s Jude Law. I’m sure we’d all love to see that man work some magic. Plus, people are eager to see him clash with the dark wizard Gellert Grindelwald who’s played by Johnny Depp.
Jude Law is an award-winning actor known for his roles in films such as Hugo, The Grand Budapest Hotel, and Sherlock Holmes. His recent project is his lead role in the TV show The Young Pope.
The Fantastic Beasts sequel is set to start shooting this August.
