Jhong Hilario shocked fans of It’s Showtime when he announced his departure from the show last March 23.
Jhong announced to the audience:
“Last day ko na ngayon sa Showtime.
Mami-miss ko kayo. Gusto kong magpasalamat lahat sa inyo. Direk Bobet, thank you so much sa lahat.”
Although he didn’t say why he was leaving, speculation is that this has something to do with his bid as councillor for the 1st district of Makati City.
