ENTERTAINMENT: Is Westlife Making a Comeback?

For those who don’t know them, Westlife is an Irish boyband that was popular in the 90s. They were formed in 1998 and disbanded sometime in 2012. The band is composed of Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily, and Shane Filan. Brian McFadden was a member of the band until his departure in 2004.

Fast forward to 2017, an Instagram account called @westlifemusic hinted that the group might do a comeback.

There is only a single post on the account to date and it is as follows.

Coming Soon

A post shared by Westlife (@westlifemusic) on

The post is just a photo of the four members with “2018” as text.

With the same caption, “coming soon,” Shane Filan also posted something on his Instagram account.

We’re not sure though if the two posts are related. Moreover, the hints don’t clearly say if it will be about an upcoming tour or a new album. Guess, we’ll just have to wait and see…

Some of Westlife’s hits include Swear It Again, Flying Without Wings, and If I Let You Go.
