Described as a “rebellious bad boy”, in the world of Archie Comics, Nick St. Clair is the ex-boyfriend of Veronica Lodge. He will be played by 24-year-old actor Graham Philips (he was part of tv series The Good Wife).

According to Entertainment Weekly, it was revealed that Phillips will “appear in two episodes”.

“Nick is an old classmate of Veronica’s from New York, and despite his parent-pleasing veneer, he is a wolf in sheep’s clothing: a hard-partying Lothario with dark desires and an unchecked sense of privilege,” executive producer Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa explained in an interview.

Phillips also took it to his social media account to verify the news that he will appear in the show’s second season.

We left off the first season of Riverdale with a happy #Varchie. Do you think St. Clair’s arrival will tear the two apart? Only Season 2 can tell!

Riverdale’s Second Season premieres on October 11.
