My weekend digs!
I stayed in their premier suite, which offers a fully furnished living and dining area, a kitchen, two bathrooms, one bedroom and a balcony that opens up to Makati’s bustling skyline (with high-speed internet, hooray!) I was floored when I noticed how absolutely spacious my suite was; a sprawling 85 square meters tastefully decked in sleek and functional furniture, in nondescript shades of gray and black, accentuated by pops of color here and there.
Not only is KL Tower ideal for the occasional weekend staycation, it is also great as long-term accommodations for transient guests who plan to stay in Manila for extended periods of time. The comfort and convenience that serviced residences offer is the prime commodity in this arrangement – a fresh batch of bath towels are ready when you need them, housekeeping is routinely done, and laundry services are readily available – all the comforts of home delivered in a compact setting. Overnight guests also get to enjoy complimentary breakfast care of Kitchen 1B which is right downstairs. Their Monte Cristo sandwiches are a must-try!

Suggested activities include: drowning in your queen-sized bed’s fluffy white sheets with a good book, stopping by specialty restaurant Kitchen 1B downstairs for some well-deserved grub, drinks by your balcony while admiring the Makati nighttime skyline, lounging by the pool area for a recuperative swim the morning after, followed by a nice 30-minute session in the sauna, and a brunch of Monte Cristo sandwiches at Kitchen 1B (again.) Your plea for an ideal weekend staycation in the city has just been heeded, and it looks pretty darn posh.
