The Philippine Society of Mechanical Engineers-UP Student Unit reaches a milestone in its purpose to foster camaraderie among mechanical engineering students, as it celebrates its 20th anniversary this September of 2013.
Themed “Empower: Elevating the Nation Through Genuine Innovations”, PSME Month 2013 will be packed with engaging activities for the friends and fellows of PSME-UPSU, as well as exciting events for high school and colleges all over the country. Be part of the grand launch on September 3 at the lobby of Melchor Hall, College of Engineering and witness the unveiling of the exhibit featuring PSME-UPSU’s past and upcoming events, all while enjoying free food from the grand pakain.
Coming back this year is the highly successful high school quiz show BrainMEsh Inter High, to be held on September 7 at the Melchor Hall, as well as its college-level counterpart BrainMEsh Inter-U on September 20-21 at the UP Diliman College of Engineering.
Exercise camaraderie as well as competition at the PSME Cup, a sports festival to be held at the Amoranto Sports Complex on September 14 and participated by the PSME students units from Metro Manila and nearby provinces. Broaden your horizons on September 20 at the Mechanical Engineering Students’ Convergence, a career talk and seminar where delegates from universities nationwide can hear and be heard by professors and industry professionals of mechanical engineering.
PSME-UPSU will also be recognizing its distinguished members and alumni at the PSME-UPSU Alumni Homecoming on September 27 at the Great Eastern Hotel, Quezon City. Without the united efforts of its members, PSME-UPSU would not be the exceptional organization it is today.
