Ellen Page is Gay: X-Men Star Comes Out of the Closet on Valentine’s Day
When in Manila, you must be familiar with the pretty face of Ellen Page. She is most well-known for starring as Juno in, well, “Juno”; but she has also made her mark on the big screen as Ariadne in “Inception” and Kitty Pryde in the “X-Men” movie series, a role she will be reprising in “X-Men: Days of Future Past“.

Well, in case you missed the news because you were busy spending it with your loved one, Ellen Page publicly announced that she is gay on Valentine’s Day.
Straight men and boys on my newsfeed all wept, while my gay female friends all rejoiced. One of them quipped that she officially didn’t know any other straight Ellens (cue everyone’s favorite lesbian, Ellen Degeneres! Woot woot!) and another exclaimed, “Anna Kendrick, we’re waiting.” LOL.
Page broke the news at the Time to THRIVE conference, which aimed to promote the issues that the gay community faces.
“Loving other people starts with loving ourselves and accepting ourselves,” she said in a very, very nervous voice. I couldn’t have said it better myself. 🙂
