2. Cheap Accommodations
When picking a destination to visit, the rates for accommodations will more often than not be the most important concerns. Many of you would think El Nido is expensive because of the popular El Nido Resorts managed by Ayala Group, which can cost a lot. While this may not pose a problem for those who can afford the luxury of travel, the majority of vacationers will most likely just cross out El Nido from their bucket list altogether.

Â
There is no need to fret, though, fellow budget travelers! El Nido is also replete in terms of accommodation choices you can enjoy without punching holes on your wallet. Some places might be devoid of the comforts of high-end hotels, but they will surely offer bang for your buck.
Entalula Beach Cottages
Â
During our 5-day El Nido vacation, we stayed at Entalula Beach Cottages where a room for 3 is only 2,500 pesos per night and a room for 2 is 2,000 pesos per night. If you do not mind sharing a room with other travelers, you can check out Shady Rest, a hostel that has just recently opened.
Free breakfast from the hotel.
1. Laidback Nightlife
If your definition of nightlife is endless raving through EDM and getting wasted on the dance floor, this place will not do you justice. Meanwhile, if you want a laidback night, just enjoying a few bottles of beer, listening to an artist singing a bunch of reggae songs almost synchronized with the sound of the waves kissing the shore; I bet El Nido is a place you will enjoy. The downer is you will have a good time chugging a few bottles, best enjoyed while having conversations with friends you came along with or with the new ones you have just met. For the best places to drink, I suggest you visit Mezzanine, El Nido Boutique & Art Cafe, Coco Bar, Pukka Bar, Sea Slugs, Marber’s, and Shady Rest.Â
Chill drinking spot at Coco Bar. Best for Happy Hour.
If you like reggae, you will love Pukka Bar. One of the bars last to close.
