Ed Westwick From “Gossip Girl” is Back on TV with “White Gold”

Ed Westwick White Gold

You know you love him: Ed Westwick, who played the ladies man Chuck Bass in the hit TV show Gossip Girl, is back on TV with White Gold, which follows three window salesmen in the ’80s.

It’s a far cry from his Gossip Girl role, as Bass will be playing a smarmy salesman who loves to cuss as if there’s no tomorrow. He also has a thick British (Essex, if you want to be specific) accent.

Prior to White Gold, Westwick has been busy starring in films like Romeo and Juliet, Bone in the Throat, Freaks of Nature, and Billionaire Ransom. After Gossip Girl, he also appeared in Californication, Wicked City, Family Guy, and Snatch.

Bass stars in White Gold with Joe Thomas and James Buckley, who previously appeared in Inbetweeners.

And oh, if there’s something to look forward to in White Gold, there’s a scene where Westwick dances in his briefs.

The show’s first six episodes are now available for streaming on Netflix.
