Ed Sheeran’s Concert in Manila Moved to April 2018 Due to Injury

Ed Sheeran, who was supposed to hold his concert in Manila on November 7 this year, has announced that he will be moving it to April next year due to a recent bicycle accident that resulted in injury.

The accident prompted the British singer and songwriter to cancel his performances in Jakarta, Hong Kong, Taipei, and Seoul and reschedule his shows in Manila as well as Osaka and two in Tokyo.

Watch the announcement from Ed Sheeran himself below:

According to him, it was “quite a difficult decision to do” but he “can’t physically play at the moment.” He is currently “getting his arms healed” so he can continue to play.

Fortunately, while there were shows that have been canceled, Manila will still be able to watch Sheeran perform on April 8 next year.  The concert in Singapore on November 11 will also push through.
