DVBBS Delivers a Rave to Remember in HYVE
DVBBS (pronounced as “dubs”), the Canadian DJ, Producer, Songwriter duo behind the club bangers Tsunami, Raveology, and Stampede brought a memorable performance in HYVE this September 4 for what was dubbed the #DEADLIESTNIGHTEVER. The brothers Alex van den Hoef and Chris van den Hoef did not disappoint as they played their signature mixes as well as new, soon-to-be-released material – giving Hyve Nation an exclusive sneak preview of their upcoming releases.
Droves of party-hardy ravers flocked to HYVE to witness what was perhaps one of the most talked about events of the year. Guests were in for a treat as DVBBS performed a very up-close-and-personal set, even interacting with the crowd, pouring them drinks, and posing for photos. The night was punctuated by cryo guns, confetti blasts, and champagne showers – which the duo is known for during their performances.
Formed in 2012, DVBBS has already performed alongside electronic music giants such as Tiesto, Steve Aoki, Calvin Harris, Dragonette, Deadmau5, LMFAO, among others. The duo has been making waves in the EDM community with their collaborations with fellow dance music virtuosos Borgeous, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Martin Garrix, and VINAI to name a few. Tsunami (in collaboration with Borgeous) and Stampede (together with Dimitri Vegas and Like Mike) have garnered much buzz from entering international charts, with Tsunami peaking at number 1 in Belgium, The Netherlands, and the United Kingdom. Tsunami also reached number 1 in the Beatport 100 and charted worldwide in iTunes.
