DOSE: The UP Underground Music Community’s 12th Anniversary Concert
Join the UP Underground Music Community as they culminate a year of triumphs this Saturday, September 27, at the UP Town Center!
Seeing a steady rise in audiences this year following a string of successful events, it’s been a good year for the organization who brought us ‘Roots 2014’, ‘Tula, Kanta, Kape’, and the ‘UP Underground LoFi vol. 5’. Conceived back in September 21, 2002 in UP Diliman to give local independent musicians a platform to showcase their music, the UP Underground Music Community has spent the past twelve years delivering quality events that highlight the range of talent that the local scene has to offer. This year is no different, with a lineup featuring Ang Bandang Shirley, Ourselves the Elves, Ivan Theory, Lights in Transit, Extrapolation, Specterull, 3×2, With Fingers Crossed, Tard, and Shirebound and Busking; a collection of artists that are slowly making a name for themselves in the music industry. From start to end, the concert is bound to captivate audiences with the sheer variety of music that the organization will have on display; from pop, jazz, to industrial rock. In the spirit of fun times, the event will also have an open bar serving free themed cocktails for early concert-goers (so bring your IDs!) Prepare yourselves for a night of good music and good times.
DOSE: the UP Underground Music Community’s 12th Anniversary Concert is the embodiment of the organization’s core mission of setting up professional-grade events that weave the spirit of respect, music, and brotherhood. As in the past twelve years, the event is still FREE, and always will be.
