D’ESTIME: MapĂșa Students Organize Seminar on Multimedia Arts

With the aim to inspire aspiring artists with fresh ideas and new knowledge, a class of multimedia arts students from MapĂșa Institute of Technology’s School of Multimedia and Visual Arts (SMVA) of will be hosting a seminar about the different facets and relevant issues in the multimedia industry. The event titled D’estime: Discovering the Essence, Styles, and Techniques in Multimedia Emergence, the said event will be held at Whitespace Manila on March 22.

Speakers will be some of the Philippine’s most respected names in the multimedia industry. They will talk about specific topics on graphic design, video production, and animation. Wincy Ong will talk about Directing, Vincent Aseo for Illustration, Ricky Orellana for Video Editing, Lei Melendrez for Doodle Art, Dave Yu for Visual Effects, and Rina Malonzo will discuss Branding and Portfolio Development.

The speakers will also hold an open forum wherein the atendees may ask questions about the significant issues and dilemmas in the multimedia industry today.

Registration fee is P1, 500 which will include buffet meals and kits. Participants will also have the chance to win exciting prizes from the event’s sponsors.
