Yaaassssss! Everyone’s new favorite superhero will definitely be back! That’s confirmed!
Fox announced at CinemaCon 2016 this April that Deadpool 2 is happening. Ryan Reynolds has officially signed up, together with director Tim Miller and writers Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick. And we’re not surprised at all. Deadpool, which was released Valentines this year, was a major hit despite its R rating, raking in over 700 million dollars worldwide! Wow.
The film got good reviews too, scoring an 83% rating on Rotten Tomatoes, calling it “fast, funny, and gleefully profane.” Well, we certainly want more of that, don’t we? Deadpool is witty, cool (is he possibly cooler than Iron Man???), and dead funny.
So, in case you haven’t seen Deadpool yet, here’s the sign that you should go watch as soon as you can. No news yet on the release date of Deadpool 2, but one’s thing’s for sure—we can’t wait!!
