DC and Res Toe Run’s Rumble Yard: An Action-Inspired Event for Kids of All Ages
When in Manila, it is always hard for me to find fun and action-filled things for my kid to do. Since Syrena is the type of kid who gets restless in movies and gets bored doing things that other lil girls usually love to do (like getting their nails done or decorating cupcakes), I knew I had to take a chance on DC and Res Toe Run’s Rumble Yard and give her the kind of action that she tends to crave: the boyish kind.
Well, DC and Res Toe Run’s Rumble Yard definitely didn’t disappoint. When they said the event would be action-filled, they weren’t kidding. Upon walking in, kids were fed with a ton of sugar in the form of cookies and cupcakes, before being released into the wild where they could tire themselves out with sugar in their systems – a perfect combination if you ask me! :p
The Different Activities at DC and Res Toe Run’s Rumble Yard

They were also able to play Xbox, bounce in inflatables and grab some shoes in a Timezone catcher machine.
Of course, there were a lot of games for kids and parents to enjoy during the DC and Res Toe Run’s Rumble Yard event, as well, which all took place on-stage and enabled families to win a lot of awesome prizes.
To make things even more interesting, kids were given passports upon entering DC and Res Toe Run’s Rumble Yard, which they then had to fill in with stamps by going to each activity station!
“There’s an energetic side in all of us, from parents down to the kids, and this is what we wish to relive through the fun-filled weekend,” said Res Toe Run’s Brand Associate, Edilyn Yu.
Well, Syrena and I definitely enjoyed some great quality time at DC and Res Toe Run’s Rumble Yard. It isn’t everyday we get to bond while doing all sorts of action-filled activities, after all. In fact, she was so tired by the end of the day that she passed out on the way home, which hardly ever happens. I partly blame the crash from the sugar rush, though. :p
