5. Another Story
Everybody has a story to tell. And this restaurant’s story must be told.
Entering to this fashionable and interesting restaurant is like reading your favorite book; you feel giddy and persistent to know more about the place.
I’ve tasted several versions of Angus Prime Ribeye Steak – grass fed or not – but this must be in your arsenal of steak places. Everything on my plate was marvelous. Too bad it’s bad for me, so I gave my share to Mike.
Who wouldn’t love Salmon? Apart from its nutritional value, this Grilled Salmon is perfect for you and your partner; it’s healthy and light! 6. Teppanya
This isn’t your ordinary Japanese restaurant.
Teppanya means “house of teppanyaki.” They add an entertaining twist to their traditional Japanese cuisines by preparing the food in front of you. We tried their A5 Wagyu Ribeye BMS 9 Teppanyaki.
I kid you not – you’d be speechless once you taste this.
I didn’t get to taste the  Salted Crusted Hokkaido Oysters because I’m allergic to seafood. I asked my friend, however, and she said it tasted “fresh from the water.” As per one of the staff, they get fully booked especially on weekends, so for inquiries, message them or follow their IG: @teppanyaph.
7. The Cheesecake Fairy
Last and definitely not least, my favorite of them all: The Cheesecake Fairy.
Now, if there’s one fairy you would need for love, it would be this place. The ambiance, interior, and vibe would make you fall in love all over again.

We’ve always believed that fairies glitter our hearts with giggles everytime we take a bite of their well-loved cheesecakes and other products, so treat yourself to some of these lip-smacking cheesecakes!
The crowd’s favorite, Oreo cheesecake. It’s not too sweet, yet inviting enough to get another slice.
Ube cheesecake was also indulging. However, my favorite of them all was the Strawberry Cheesecake. And of course, all of these irresistible cakes and pastries are best partnered with coffee or tea.

Now, if you’d like to stay at home and planning to surprise him/her with edible valentine’s desserts, you may want to try the recipes shared by Mothers Who Brunch. In the dessert platter, were the churros that got devoured in seconds and the strawberries dipped in dark and white chocolate!
For a picturesque and inviting dessert platter, shop at My Mother’s Cupboard located at Evia as well. My tip, bring extra money because that place has a lot of wonderful kitchenware!
By the way, if you want a more romantic Valentine’s date, Evia has an intimate event on February 14, 7 PM. It’s an evening full of good food courtesy of Another Story and Tigerleaf while being serenaded by Avonlea Paraiso and the Manila Symphony Orchestra.

A happy relationship, be it marriage, friendship, domestic partnership, requires the same amount of love, trust, and patience. If Spider-Man has a quote to live by (with great power comes great responsibility) so does every relationship: a great relationship comes with great maintenance. Therefore, keep the love alive by fulfilling each other’s love tanks with trust, patience, and of course, lots of good food!
Ultimately, Valentine’s Day or not, love is the most wonderful thing that has happened to us. Don’t be afraid to love all over again. Life is short. Love and be in love because time is all we have.
