DANCE SUPREMACY, now on its 2nd year, is an urban dance competition held and hosted in the Philippines that aims to challenge dance groups to create fresh, creative, and original dance pieces true to their own unique style. Esteemed choreographers from Japan, Thailand, USA, Singapore, and the Philippines will be filling up the panel of judges. This competition is open not just to Filipino dance groups, but also to other groups residing outside the country.
There are two categories in this competition. First is the SMALL CREW DIVISION for groups with 3 to 5 Members. Second is the BIG CREW DIVISION for groups with 15 to 35. Members should be 13 years old and above.
The winners of each category will also receive big cash prizes. Php 50,000.00 (USD 1000) for Small Crew Division and Php100,00.00 (USD 2000) for the Big Crew Division.
On top of the competition, Dance Supremacy also conducts a special awarding segment to recognize carefully selected dancers and choreographers who have made an impact and contribution to the local dance industry.
Dance Supremacy will be held on March 18, 2018, 6 pm at the AFP Theater, Camp Aguinaldo Quezon City.
