Dance Steps at the Below Zero PH Workshop

 

When in Manila, the grooving never stops. Aside from karaoke, Filipinos are also widely known for throwing out great dance steps at any place and from any given genre.

 

May it be on the streets to a concert stage, we Filipinos view the world as our dance floor. It is to no surprise that the popularity of dance concerts and contests has been rampant. Just check out the 9th Sayaw Hataw Street Dance Competition and the Philippine Dance Delight!

To be quite honest, I actually have two left feet and I thought my dreams of dancing on or off-stage has been long shattered. Well, this long-lost dream has finally been revived, thanks to a dance workshop called Below Zero.

 

Below Zero is organized by a group called ChillFam, which is made up of 16 stupendous members who desire to both pursue their love for dance and to share that same passion with others. 

Unlike other dance workshops, which usually hold a panel audition prior to enrollment, Below Zero welcomes EVERYONE. Their aim is to break the perception that dance workshops are for people who live and breathe dance and who merely want to perfect their craft.

 

Here’s a snippet of the splendid moves from the Master Class:

 The main point of entering a dance workshop is to… learn how to dance whether you have the moves of Michael Jackson or William Hung.

 

Their classes are held on Fridays and Saturdays and are open to both children and adults. Their workshop rates to perform for the Showcase production are more than just affordable! You will definitely get the value for your buck.

 

You can also opt to do walk-ins if you simply just want to dance for no good reason. You don’t need an elaborate purpose to pursue this passion. Dance simply because you want to. At Below Zero, you will be given the opportunity to break boundaries and as well both share and showcase the passion you have for this form of art.
