“Daily papers” an essential tool perfect for your morning coffee. Scanning sweepstakes results, the latest in entertainment, and most importantly the biggest headlines of today amidst the issues of prejudiced news reporting.

I was testing a new film on my 1957 Yashicaflex camera around the busy business hub into the heart of Makati trying to shoot some portraits of my fellow countrymen who, if not rushing, is weary to get home after a queue of calls in line all night. I took a break after an hour taking photos under summer heat and came close to this man reading the newspapers despite the issues dealing with the biased reporting of the media, erroneous articles, and misinterpret words.

It took me a while to deliberate the current status of every issues concerning proper news reporting and now they are planning to boycott the upcoming administration, they better get ready to pay for the consequences, because as far as I know (based on the news) our presumptive president doesn’t give a damn about it. So my question still remains,

“Is the media informing or manipulating?”
