Newly-elected Tacloban mayor Cristina Romualdez apologized for her daughter’s, Sofia Romualdez, unpleasant tweet against vice presidential candidate Leni Robredo.
The controversial tweet contained expletives directed towards Leni.
Sofia posted on Twitter, “”P******* Leni bobo naman yan walang alam t******** nyo.”
Cristina posted her apology via Facebook.
Sofia also posted an apology on Twitter saying, “What I said about Leni was out of frustration and anger. I’m human and I make mistakes too, I’m sorry if I offended anyone.”
However, Sofia’s Twitter account has been deactivated since.
