From footballer to hotelier: Real Madrid forward Cristiano Ronaldo is set to open three new hotels this year!
The football superstar, who was named as the highest paid athlete in 2017, is expanding his “CR7” chain of hotels — a mix of his initials and football jersey number — as he is set to open three new locations, namely in New York, Madrid, and Marrakech, according to news reports!
Ronaldo has currently opened CR7 hotels alongside Portuguese hotel group Pestana in Lisbon and Funchal in his home country of Portugal.
The first of the three new locations will be opening in 18 months and is set to open in Marrakech, Morocco, featuring 160 rooms.
Meanwhile, Ronaldo and Pestana are looking to double their CR7 brand in the next three to five years.
