COVID-19 update: PH coronavirus cases rises to 636, 6 new patients recover

The Department of Health (DOH) confirmed an additional 84 new COVID-19 cases in the Philippines, putting the total at 636 on Wednesday, March 25.

The health bureau also reported three new deaths from the new coronavirus, bringing the total number of fatalities to 38.

On the other hand, six patients were reported to have recovered today, coming to a total number of recoveries to 26.

On Tuesday, Senator Aquilino “Koko” Pimentel III confirmed that he tested positive for COVID-19. He is the second senator to test positive for the new coronavirus.

“Since the last day of session March 11, I had already tried my best to limit my movement. I will call (to the best of my ability) those I remember meeting during those crucial days so that I can inform them of my test result,” the senator said.
