It’s been about a year since Liza Soberano was announced to star in the Erik Matti-directed reboot of “Darna”, where the 20-year-old actress was said to be physically preparing for the role, as well as donning an updated, millennial-friendly version of the classic Darna superhero suit.
While much about the Darna project has been kept under wraps, could this little snippet be our first sneak peek into Liza’s look as Darna?
A visual effects reel uploaded online by Mothership Inc. and VFX Productions included a short clip of what seems to be Darna saving people from a volcanic eruption. While Liza’s face wasn’t shown, the red and gold headpiece, red two-piece suit and boots were very telling!
