When we talk about planets in Filipino, most people would call them by their most obvious names. Mercury would be Merkuryo, Venus simply Benus, etc. So, when we saw this cool image on the Facebook page KatipunanBall proposing the following planet names in Filipino, we couldn’t wait to share it on the site.
Not only do these proposed names sound cooler than the generic planet names that our planets already have, but they actually make a lot of sense, too! (We also love that Pluto is still on the list because, yes, Pluto will forever be a planet to us.)
