The Department of Transportation (DOTr) announced on their Facebook page the plan about a train system that will connect Clark and Manila in just 55 minutes.
According to the post, PNR North Railway will be a 107-kilometer line that can accommodate 350,000 passengers/day and will guarantee reliable and convenient train services with proper intermodal connections.
DOTr also said that they are on the right track for this.
The project will start on Q4 of 2017. Target completion is on Q4 of 2021. They expect to build a better Philippines and this project is one of the efforts towards that.
