When in Manila, there is a new dessert place in town that you will surely delight in. Chez Karine Bakery opened in Serendra on June 24, serving coffee, iced drinks and desserts.
Last Thursday, my friend and I went to Serendra to try the sweet offerings of Chez Karine Bakery.
I liked the simplicity of the signage of Chez Karine Bakery which brings the promise of yummy goodies from within.
Chez Karine Bakery did a good job of utilizing the limited space to their advantage.
Don’t you think the custom-made coffee cups and dessert boxes of Chez Karine Bakery look chic?
My friend ordered the hot chocolate and caramel macchiato mousse cake or entremets according to the Chez Karine Bakery menu.
When her drink was ready, my friend raved about how delicious it was! It was not overly sweet and tasted like real chocolate.
Here’s a closer look of what’s inside the caramel macchiato dessert of Chez Karine Bakery.
When we tried the caramel macchiato, it truly tasted like the dessert version of the well-known coffee drink it was named after.
I ordered the strawberry and salted macarons and the mango panna cotta.
The delicious macarons of Chez Karine Bakery are competitively priced and worth every peso.
I am glad that Chez Karine Bakery included a line of panna cottas in their menu because not many places carry this gelatin dessert.
Their mango panna cotta was an even mixture of cream, gelatin, sugar and milk. Creamy yet light. Chez Karine Bakery packaged the panna cotta in a cute monogrammed glass bottle which you can take home with you.
The mango panna cotta definitely went well with the cafe latte I ordered. The perfect dessert pairing for me!
We went home happy and satisfied with this recent find. I will not be surprised if Chez Karin Bakery will become the next dessert destination among foodies and dessert lovers When in Manila!
