Liam Payne has been hard at work on his solo career, traveling the world to promote his music and working on different collaborations — the most recent one being with Rita Ora for a song called “For You” as part of the Fifty Shades Freed soundtrack.
But while the former One Direction member has constantly gushed about his 34-year-old partner Cheryl and their 10-month-old child Bear, tongues are wagging about Liam’s and Rita’s working relationship, which (understandably) pisses Cheryl off, according to reports!
According to British magazine Closer, a source close to the couple said:
“Liam and Rita have been spending a lot of time working together recently, and they’ve even got plans to perform their song together in the U.S. They’ve been casual friends over the years and they’re really looking forward to sharing the stage. They’ve been bouncing ideas on how they should perform the song together.
Cheryl’s really happy for him as his career us going from strength to strength, but she can’t help but feel angry at some of the insinuations being made by others.”
The source also added that Liam is aware that his partner is upset, and is doing everything he can to reassure her. He’s also asked her to join him and Rita for dinner, but Cheryl is currently busy easing herself back into work and taking care of their child.
