The streets of Banawe, Quezon City, are famous for their wide selection of restaurants serving up Asian cuisine, making it an iconic food haven for those who have a craving for anything Chinese. Chef Robert started out as a humble cafe in the heart of Banawe, serving coffee, pastries, and desserts. Later on, it decided to reinvent itself and find a home in Filipino comfort food to set itself apart from its neighboring restaurants.

Salad Rolls in Kani Mango Dressing – Regular (Php245… or Php171.5 at 30% off)

The Salad Rolls in Kani Mango Dressing look incredibly appetizing with their vibrant colors and beautiful presentation. This beauty tastes as good as it looks with the dish filled with carrots, cucumber, mango, and fish roe wrapped with soft and tender rice wrapper and Kani placed on the center topped with drizzled mayonnaise and mango puree. After just one bite, I could already taste that it’s refreshing, cleansing, and definitely a go-to-meal when you’re looking for something healthy and satisfying.

Sweet Corn Fritters (Php195… or Php136.5 at 30% off)

This tempura style Sweet Corn Fritter surely is interesting. It’s something different, and a hit with the youngsters. It’s basically shredded corn lightly coated in tempura batter and fried until it’s crispy golden yellow. I encourage you to try this!

Tilapiang Hubad (Php325… or Php227.5 at 30% off)

Tilapia is one of the most common fish that can be found in the Philippines and it has become a staple dish at most Filipino dinner tables. One unique way of serving this dish is the way Chef Robert prepares it: the Tilapiang Hubad. For this dish, the fish is filleted and fried to perfection and served whole (including the head)! It’s so easy to eat – crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The saltiness is just right, and best of all: it’s good for sharing!

Bicol Express Pasta (Php225… or Php157.5 at 30% off)

Who knew that you could make hands down one of the best kinds of pasta I have ever tried using Bicol Express? This pasta tastes so good because of the perfect combination of the pork, coconut milk, bagoong, and spaghetti noodles. Its creamy taste with a spicy kick made my fork keep going back for more!
