Visitors can check out these tidbits into the author’s life, including a replica of his former home and his playful wall drawings.

It’s like entering the world of Dr. Seuss as a child: there’s also a replica of the Springfield Zoo where Geisel’s father used to work. There’s even a Seuss bakery, inspired after the bakery Dr. Seuss’ grandparents once owned, where kids can bake their own pies!

The Dr. Seuss museum is a component of Springfield Museums. Springfield Museums decided to create the museum after its Dr. Seuss National Memorial Sculpture Garden, featuring sculptures of Seuss and his books’ characters, was a hit among tourists.
