Charice Looks Muscular in New Photos
Singer Charice Pempengco sure does know how to attract a crowd. First it was her hair-raising performance at the South Korean talent show Star King. Then it was her many guestings at The Ellen DeGeneres Show, followed by Oprah’s dubbing of her as “the most talented girl in the world.” She has also performed on Glee, and with Andrea Bocelli, David Foster, and Celine Dion. Other things that made headlines were her appointment as judge for The X Factor, her Botox procedure, and when her song “Pyramid” entered the Billboard Hot 100. Charice became the second Filipina to enter the charts after Jaya in 1990.
But Charice’s biggest headline was when she told Oprah her soul was male. She later revealed her girlfriend, Alyssa Quijano, and soon started changing the way she looked. Her hair got shorter and her style got manlier, with many criticizing her for being “too butch.” But the singer is embracing a more masculine lifestyle, when she released these photos on Instagram with her new look. In the new photos, Charice has more chiseled arms and abs, thanks to a gym workout:
