The World Youth Congress is a 3-day event celebrated annually by CFC-YFL as a year-starter mark for them. Amidst music festivals, concert scenes, and urban gigs, Couples for Christ – Youth for Family and Life (CFC-YFL) is set to have its World Youth Congress on April 20 – 22, 2018 which will be held at Subic Bay Exhibition and Convention Center, SBMA. The WYC is expected to be attended by almost three thousand youth members from the different regions of the Philippines as well as from other countries like Thailand, Hong Kong, and Singapore, and Cambodia for a weekend of inspirational sessions, activity, workshops, and showcasing of God-given talents.
On its 11th year of celebrating unending graces and countless victories, WYC 2018 will feature the new generation of YFL that will share and impart the vision of the community to make all youth know Christ.
This year, the WYC 2018 is entitled Rise Above: Destined for Greatnes with the carrying verse “But you are a chosen race, a royal priesthood, holy nation, a people of his own” (1 Peter 2:9a). This year will be a year of experiencing the greatness of the Lord in big or small things. Though struggles and hardship will make us feel down. Only by His grace and love we can rise above and experience the greatness the Lord has destined for us.
