Aegis is undoubtedly one of OPM’s pillars and they only keep getting stronger as years go by. Their hit songs, Halik, Luha, Basang Basa Sa Ulan, and Sinta have been the anthem of belters in the karaoke, even for the broken-hearted and not.
Celebrating two decades in the music industry, Aegis fans will get a peek behind the curtain on how the legendary band came about. Fans will get to know more as the vocal powerhouse of sisters Juliet, Mercy, and Ken Sunot, sing us through the journey they’ve traversed to becoming the Aegis they are today. These amazing singers will be accompanied by keyboardist Stella Pabico, lead guitarist Rey Abenoja, bass player Rowena Adriano, and drummer Vilma Golovigo.
Aside from Aegis performing some songs in their album they haven’t performed before, fans can look forward to hearing cover songs from world-renowned singers like Celine Dion and Whitney Houston in the upcoming concert.
After receiving an unexpected yet very warm welcome from their audience abroad, recently selling out 15 shows in the US, Aegis sets foot onstage in their homeland. Mark your calendars on September 1, 2017 as we welcome back Aegis with their homecoming concert Aegis na Aegis: A Story of Us at the 1,500 seating capacity venue, Newport Performing Arts Theater in Resorts World Manila.
 
On another note, in the intention to encourage everyone to rise above a difficult situation, Resorts World Manila also invites everyone for a night full of amazing performances from various local artists, most of whom have flourished their careers at Resorts World Manila’s Productions. Kaya Natin ‘To is a benefit concert where all the proceeds will be allocated for the children of Resorts World Manila Foundation.
The concert features Noel Cabangon’s composition, also entitled Kaya Natin ‘To. With music being a common denominator among many people, the song is endeavored to bring awareness to a nationwide scale that we, Filipinos, can rise above the current challenges we are experiencing.
Performing tunes from Resorts World Manila musicals and more surprise numbers, the solid line up of artists for Kaya Natin ‘To is definitely something to look out for. With music by the Manila Philharmonic Orchestra and Maestro Rodel Colmenar, some of the artists performing on the evening of August 30, 2017 are Pinky Marquez, Bituin Escalante, Menchu Lauchengco-Yulo, Christian Bautista, Noel Cabangon, and more.
