If there’s one thing we love more than going on an adventure, it’s documenting it. Which probably explains why we’re the social media capital of the world and Makati is the selfie capital of the world. Because of our obsession with photos, all sorts of cameras, gadgets, and accessories related to it (like monopods) are very popular.

One of the popular cameras in the Philippines is the GoPro, a small camera commonly used for extreme settings like sports. But because of its high price, not a lot of people can afford to get this compact camera that can instantly transform an ordinary shot into an extraordinary one. Enter CD-R King.

CD-R King is a local brand dedicated to selling more affordable versions of gadgets and accessories. Through the years, they have sold a wide range of products from CDs to flash drives, gaming devices, and all the toys a techie could dream of. One time, they announced they would also sell the famed Google Glass (which ended up not happening).

For those who want to buy a GoPro, you can soon buy an affordable version, because CD-R King has developed their own version of a waterproof action camera. Called the Action Camcorder, it has the same features of the GoPro but with a friendlier price tag. It has a 1.5 hour battery life, a waterproof and dust-tight case, and can be immersed underwater under a specified pressure. And it even looks like a GoPro! The CD-R King Action Camcorder will be available in three colors: black, silver, and yellow.
