I’ve been looking for a place to watch some international sporting events since I got to the Philippines. Finding a decent place to watch any Playoff game, the SuperBowl, Paquiao fights or even just a San Diego Chargers Football game has quickly turned into a task more challenging than medical school. So finding out that the Velocity Sports Bar at the Marriott Hotel Manila caters to many of my sport watching needs, I quickly fell in love with this place.

The Marriott Hotel, right next to Resorts World Casino and near the Ninoy Aquino International Airport, in itself had a very modern Avant Guarde look to it. Every corner of the Marriott seemed to boast a different style, look and feel to it. It was as if they hired a dozen different interior designers to create each different section of the hotel. Somehow, they all blended in very well together.
