Cat Cafe Manila to close doors, open to entreps who want to adopt the shop

Sadly, even the amazing things can come to an end.

This is something that has come to Cat Cafe Manila.

According to their recent Facebook post, the cafe is no longer “sustainable” so they decided to close up shop soon.

Still, they are hopeful that there might be entrepreneurs out there who would want to adopt the shop and continue its legacy.

Here is the full Facebook post.

To our Cat Cafe Manila Friends and Family:

It’s been an amazing journey. Since we opened last April of 2015, we already entertained 42,752 guests, received 8,257 post-it letters on our wall and helped around 30 cats find their furever home. Unfortunately, Cat Cafe Manila is no longer able to sustain the business and we will have to close our doors effective June 1, 2018.

We are incredibly grateful for your patronage, for making the cafe how it is now, and for helping us provide homes to the CARA cats. We will still be open for the full month of April and May so you can experience Cat Cafe Manila and bond with the cats before June. Reservations will be greatly appreciated. We thank you for your continuous support.

Please spread the word so that those who haven’t visited us or those who would like to come back can have precious time with the cats and possibly help find all of them their furever homes.

We take pride in opening the hearts of many to our catvocacy, and we will be interested to know if adopting the cafe itself is possible to other entrepreneurs and business investors out there. Feel free to message us anytime!

Meowraming salamat, and we hope to see you at the cafe again.

Regards,

Cat Cafe Manila Team

Know anyone who might be interested in adopting the cafe and continue providing homes to CARA cats?
