Carrie Fisher, the actress known for playing Princess Leia in the Star Wars original trilogy, suffered a heart attack on a plane ride from London to Los Angeles. According to her brother, the actress is “out of emergency,” but remains to be in critical condition.

United Airlines released a statement regarding the issue, saying “Medical personnel met United flight 935 from London to Los Angeles upon arrival today after the crew reported that a passenger was unresponsive.”

Actress Anna Akana was on the same flight, and posted a series of tweets:

Fisher is known for her appearances in Star Wars, The Empire Strikes Back, Return of the Jedi, and The Force Awakens, but she has also starred in other films like The Blues Brothers and When Harry Met Sally… Apart from her film roles, Fisher has published semi-autobiographical novels, a screenplay of her novel Postcards From the Edge, a one-woman play, and a non-fiction book.
