Drink, dine, party and drive in style in a brand new Jaguar XF 2014 as Buddha-Bar Manila and DJ Ravin present “Buddha-Bar XV’
The night came alive with music and dancing last 28 June 2013 as Buddha-Bar Manila launched the 15th edition of its iconic Buddha-Bar CDs, highlighted by the wonderful performance of international phenom DJ Ravin. Partyphiles stormed the event, anticipating great music and amazing drinks. They were not disappointed by the said event.
The Mauritius- born DJ Ravin, whose musical career was boosted by his performances for Buddha-Bar, mixed the said album. DJ Ravin is among the biggest name in the Paris club scene, and his very first live set was in Buddha-Bar Paris in 1997. Buddha-Bar XV is a double- CD collection, which pays tribute to the music of Russia, which is famous for its rich, enchanting, and enigmatic musical scene. The first CD leans on the acoustic genre, while electronic music dominates the second one. Russian artists such as Steppe, Listening Bliss, Yasmine Hamdam, Thor, Dim Vach, and Seanbay were featured in the fusion- based collection.
During that momentous night, Buddha-Bar’s “Drink, Dine, Drive” promo was also launched. Customers who spend P5, 000 on a single receipt from 1 July 2013 until 31 January 2014 will be given the chance to drive home the all-new Jaguar XF 2014, the latest in the line of executive cars manufactured by Jaguar. Prizes given by Buddha-Bar Manila to their patrons during that night also highlighted the night of partying. Attendees were given opportunities to win 100 ml bottles of Carolina Herrera 212 VIP perfume. Two lucky winners were also given the chance to have a 24- hour luxury ride in the Jaguar XF. There were also winners of PRADA and Bulgari sunglasses, trips to Boracay with accommodations, and of course the grand draw of the P100,000++ LoVely fiery red French iconic bag, concluding Buddha-Bar Manila’s Sartorial Nights, launched May 3rd of this year. The beautiful news anchor Bianca Saldua hosted the event as lively and fun as she is.
The French Embassy of the Philippines and the Alliance Francaise de Manille also supported the event, as they organized the post- party of the very successful “Fete de la Musique 2013,” which exhibited the sweet sounds of French music.
