Rios announced his retirement last November 7 after falling to re-energized WBO welterweight holder Timothy Bradley. But, according to recent news, Rios is coming out of retirement for another shot in the ring.

According to reports, Rios has been making trips to the gym, sparring at least six rounds.

Rios’ manager Cameron Dunkin confirmed that his client is ‘not done yet’.” said one report.

Rios fell after nine rounds to Bradley in their last bout for the WBO welterweight title, where Rios landed only 81 punches out of the 454 punches he threw in the ring.

Rios said he lost 53 pounds to make the weigh-in before the fight against Bradley, so he wasn’t in his best condition during the fight.

Dunkin said that Rios might get his next match in “three, maybe four months.”
