Although Bohol was hit late last year with a powerful earthquake, Boholanos have already done a whole lot of construction and their government is trying their best to bring back the magic of the island. Most of the roads are already fixed, and the affected churches has been under renovation for months, as well. Don’t believe those people who say that Bohol is devastated, because it is still as wonderful as it was before. In fact, it is still one of the must-visit places in the country in my opinion.

They offer an eco-cultural tour where they bring you to different tourist sites and cultural landmarks of Bohol. They also give you a quick run through of Bohol’s colorful history. Don’t forget to dine in at Loboc and experience the unique river cruise lunch, either, where they serenade you while you’re enjoying good food and a beautiful view.

Bohol Beach Club boasts a marvelous view of the beach and has the amenities that will make your stay well worth it. The beachfront has numerous recliner seats and a couple of hammocks where you can relax and read a good book while listening to the sounds of the waves. This area is also very roomy, giving you enough space to have some privacy, even when there are people around. You can also go for a quick dip in the beach while you’re at it and enjoy its perfectly fine sand and clear waters. There are a lot of starfish, too! If you are after a serene vacation, then this place is suited for you.

Bohol Beach Club has a total of 88 rooms made up of 80 deluxe bedrooms and 8 beachfront suites. The resort just opened its doors this December 2013 after a major renovation, so everything still looks and feels brand new. The bedrooms are spacious and comfortable, with huge cabinets that you can use for luggage and a functional vault where you can store your valuable belongings.
All rooms have a small porch in front where you can enjoy a quick smoke or some drinks while taking in the picturesque beach. The rooms range from Php 8,000 – Php 9,500, and can accommodate 2-3 pax. They also have beachview suites, which cost around Php 12,500-Php 14,000. What I loved the most during my stay, though, was that all of the areas are well-maintained. You can see their staff every now and then, checking on places and making sure that everything is in tiptop shape. Their staff is also very friendly and accommodating — their service does no wrong.

Bohol Beach Club also has a large swimming pool for when you feel like taking a quick swim. It’s rectangular shape is perfect for laps. Its depth also ranges from 3-5ft., perfect for both kids and adults. If you feel a little hungry, you can always head to their restaurant, too, which is just a few steps away from the pool and the beach. They offer a wide array of dishes there, all of which are delicious and served generously. One of the must-trys would be the Peanut Kisses Ice Cream served with a cherry on top – a dessert that can only be found in Bohol Beach Club.
