Blackberry Curve 9220 and 9320 Launch and Review!

If you are a BBM fan, then you’ll love the new top line Blackberry Curve 9220 and 9320 from Research in Motion that launched in the Philippines just last week!

The event was a ‘Rockeoke: Rock the Night Away’, filled with great music and a fun crowd. Luckily I showed up late to the event and wasn’t forced on to the stage, but the talent in the room was definitely impressive! I think I’ll have to get a little more used to the Philippines before I start singing on stage!!

Exclusively from Globe, RIM’s trademark Curve BlackBerry will soon be available to the public. “Designed to be both easy to use and easy to own, the compact and sleek smartphones offer BlackBerry messaging and social-centric features and apps, allowing customers in the Philippines to share life as it happens.”

The emphasis for these BlackBerries is definitely on sharing as well as affordability. The phones themselves have a solid and polished feel to them. I was slightly out of my element as I was the only one there with an iPhone, but at least they didn’t hate me for it!

One of the best new features is the BBM dedicated button. Basically it makes it super fast to connect with anyone on your BlackBerry. Whether you are sharing through the BlackBerry Messenger, Facebook or Twitter you can do it all through one button, definitely improving the overall interface.

The BlackBerry Curve 9320 comes with additional features including Mobile Hotspot support, which allows customers to share their mobile data connection with up to 5 Wi-Fi enabled devices, including laptops and tablets. Its integrated camera includes a flash and supports video recording, and pictures can also be tagged with their location thanks to the smartphone’s built-in GPS.
