Why Elena Bautista?

Elena Bautista came from a family of jewelers. At a young age, she was exposed to the jewelry business which gave her the vision that someday she would also want to be one. Having her mom as a role model, Elena pursued to get her Graduate Gemologist Certificate from GIA (Gemological Institute of America) in New York. After which, she immediately started her own “up-cycling” business.

“I reset jewelry. My clients bring to me their old jewelries, mostly ones that were given to them by their moms or mothers-in-law, and they request for me to reset them to make it more up to date.” -Elena B.

And because the “accessory” business is momentarily the fad, Elena came up with her own website that showcases her works using silver and brass. She wanted to offer cheaper yet classy alternatives to the public. Starting with a pair of personalized shoe clips, her pieces started catching people’s attention.
