In teaching our students to be advocates of social responsibility and community development, we always set to engage our students in outreach programs where they can learn the value of helping the less fortunate members of our society.
This year, Britesparks International School will hold an outreach fundraising event entitled theBeauty and the Beast with BIS:The Beauty and the Beast Block Screening and Disney Cosplay Outreach event, which will take place from 1:30pm to 4:00pm of March 18, Saturday at the Cinema 5 of Eastwood Cinemas, Eastwood Mall, Eastwood Ave, Bagumbayan, Quezon City. This event also includes a cosplay activity where Sparkan family members are encouraged to wear and parade their best Disney character outfits and props.
This school-organized event aims to raise funds and provide ventriculoperitoneal shunt systems for children afflicted with hydrocephalus. Our beneficiary is a group of patients who are in urgent need of this medical device for surgery to manage and treat the illness.Our target is to generate funds for at least four (4) units of ventriculoperitoneal shunt systems or VP shunts. Each unit of this medical device amounts to P 12,500.00
