Bazooka Rocks! is the first Philippine indoor rock festival. The festival announcement was made last June 2 at the Araneta Coliseum on giant LED screens with video shout outs from the entire international roster. The jubilant crowd of thousands screamed with delight as they saw their heroes speak to them about coming to the Philippines. In fact, Bazooka Rocks! along with Marianas Trench and The Pretty Reckless trended on Twitter as a result of the flamboyant announced made during the set change over from radio chart-topnotchers This Century to We Are The In Crowd (Set Your Goals opened the show).

Bazooka Rocks! includes The Pretty Reckless, which is fronted by none other than drop dead gorgeous Gossip Girl star Taylor Momsen, Mayday Parade, Marianas Trench, The Maine, Forever The Sickest Kids, A Skylit Drive, Avastera, and The Wonder Years. The show is also supported by Salamin, Robin Nievera and Penguin. The festival’s roster represents a new movement in music that is now taking today’s youth by storm. During the March 31 concert of The Maine at the SM Sky Dome, dozens of young girls had to be rushed outside of the venue where they received medical attention after fainting from the exertion of screaming and jumping up and down in a venue that was packed to the rafters so to speak.

BAZOOKA ROCKS tickets are now on sale exclusively at SM Tickets and may also be purchased online at www.smtickets.com. The SM Tickets hotline is 470-2222.
Ticket prices are progressive meaning that prices are lowest in June and highest in September. There are no sections in this festival and prices start at a mere P3,000 and increase each month by P500 until festival month. This is a unique system that is similar to festival ticket pricing styles in the USA such as The Vans Warped Tour.
