The Batmobile (and More Batman v Superman Awesomeness) in Manila

I have been waiting for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice with baited breath since I first heard that it was being made. For starters, I am a huge Ben Affleck fan, so I simply cannot wait to see his take on Bruce Wayne. Secondly, I absolutely adore Wonder Woman and since this is her first appearance in a movie, this movie simply cannot be missed. Lastly, well, it’s Batman. Come on. Any self-proclaimed geek is sure to get excited about a new Batman movie – and I am no exception.

So, when I heard that there was going to be a huge BvS event at SM North Edsa: The Block, I ventured out to the North all the way from Paranaque with my fellow geek-in-crime to check out what they had to offer.

To kick things off for the big movie, SM Supermalls, Warner Bros. Consumer Products, DC Entertainment and licensing representatives Pacific Licensing Studios in the Philippines have presented a touring mall event themed as “Choose Your Side”. We were seated on Team Batman’s side where we took photos with all of the Batman-themed awesomeness that they had set up for us.

We even ran into Batman himself! :p

Of course, the piece de resistance was the stunningly detailed 1:1 scale replica of the Batmobile, though:

Aside from that, there are also photo booths, gaming stations, collector’s exhibits and a pop-up store with exclusive movie merchandise! You can totally immerse yourself in a bad-ass BvS-inspired experience just by walking through the amazing displays set up at this mall tour, which will move around twelve SM Supermalls across the country.

WBCP has also collaborated with Penshoppe to launch a collection of BvS branded limited edition apparel and accessories:

So much awesomeness for DC fans to geek out over!

Aside from that, LEGO fans can enjoy an immersive play area setup by th LEGO Group alongside a display of their BvS product line and a cool LEGO Batman and Superman mosaic as seen in the back of this picture:
