Gilas Pilipinas pool member Mac Belo will be out for four to six weeks after tearing his meniscus in his right knee.
The Blackwater Elite forward is scheduled to undergo a knee surgery soon to start the rehabilitation process so he will most likely miss the SEABA tournament in May.
“Syempre nakaka-down pero gagawin ko nalang motivation para sa sarili ko na kailangan ko pa magpalakas lalo,” Belo said in a report by Sports5.ph.
It’s really unfortunate that injuries continue to hurt the national pool. Other players remained sidelined are Paul Lee, Art dela Cruz and Russel Escoto.
Let’s hope they all recover quickly and come back stronger!
